Since technology keeps developing, now there’s a system that is capable of extracting methane gas from household waste. This system is divided into five stages. Firstly, the household waste is put into the warming bed and it will be decayed there. The decayed waste or anaerobe will create methane gas while some of the waste becomes fertilizer. Next, that methane gas goes to the dirt trap. In this stage, the methane gas will be settled so the dirt contained in the gas will be separated. After that, the gas goes to gas indicator. Water in this stage helps the gas to be purified and so methane bubbles can be seen in this stage. Then, the gas goes to the forth stage, which is pressure release. Excess gas occurs when the pressure is high. The last stage of this system is called gas holder. There are inner tubes to hold the methane gas and there are weights above the inner tubes in order to increase the gas pressure. Whenever the gas is needed, the tap can be opened so the methane gas will be released through this tap.
